Browser Extension

Available on all plans

Capture property and travel listings while you browse — one click in a desktop browser, and the place is saved and scored. (Native mobile apps with capture are on the way.)

Capture the place, not just the listing

The womiin extension lives in your desktop browser. As you browse a property or travel portal and it recognizes the listing you're on, it saves the place into a mission with one click — no copy-paste, no re-typing. From then on, womiin keeps the saved listing up to date.

One click, and it's saved

The panel confirms the capture and gives you a quick read — the full picture opens in the web app.

It reads a listing page only when you ask it to, and stays quiet everywhere else. It never computes a score itself — it hands the place to womiin, which does the analysis and sends back the womiin Score.

One click, no typing

The extension reads the listing's details from the page and sends them to womiin — price, rooms, area, photos and location, all captured for you.

Only when you ask

It stays inactive on every page that isn't a listing, and reads a page only on your click. Nothing is ever captured silently.

Keeps places fresh

Once a listing is saved, womiin keeps an eye on it — flagging price changes and removed listings so your shortlist stays current.

Install in three steps

Web StoreInstall
Install the extension

Add it from the store

Open the extension's Chrome Web Store page and install it. Use the direct link — the extension is unlisted, so it won't turn up in store search.

The extension has no login of its own. It rides your womiin session from the same browser: sign in once on the website and the extension recognizes you automatically — that's what links it to your account.

What it asks for, and why

  • Read a listing page

Only the listing you choose to capture — never other pages. It stays inactive on anything that isn't a listing.

  • Keep you signed in

The extension uses your website session in the same browser — that's what links it to your account — and keeps your preferences on your device. There's no separate extension login.

  • Re-check prices

Schedules occasional background checks — price re-checks for the listings you follow.

  • Notify you

On Plus and Pro, notifies you about price changes or removed listings on the properties you follow.

  • Work on any portal

Listings live on thousands of portals worldwide and the extension is portal-agnostic, so it can work anywhere — but it only reads a page on your click, and ignores everything that isn't a listing.

Where it works

Which browsers and devices — a companion to the portals it reads.

On this page, “browser” means a Chromium-based desktop browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and more, about 80% of desktop browsers.

Desktop browsers only. Here's the reach.

Works across Chromium desktop browsers

The womiin extension installs from the Chrome Web Store — the standard extension store — and then runs in any Chromium-based desktop browser: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and more, all from the same listing.

Most of the desktop, covered

Chromium powers roughly four in five desktop browsers, so a single extension reaches most people right where they browse.

On your phone

The extension is desktop-only. Native mobile apps with capture are on the way; in the meantime, the womiin web app works well on your phone — capture there by pasting a listing's link.

What you see when you capture

Two views of the same place — a quick confirmation in the extension, the full picture in the web app.

In the extension — a quick read

The panel confirms the save with a light read of the place: a single womiin Score ring, and — once there's more than one listing in the mission — small plots showing how this one sits against its siblings, with a short note. It's a confirmation, not the whole analysis.

In the web app — the full picture

Open the place on the website and the full reading is there: the overall womiin Score, all eight dimensions, and the drill-down to the named places behind each number. That's where you compare, weigh and decide.

The button, state by state

Look for the green womiin button on the listing itself — not the toolbar icon. It carries a small status dot; here's what each state means.

  • Ready to capture

Green, gently pulsing. The listing is ready — one click saves it.

  • Already saved

Green, steady. This place is already in one of your missions.

  • Sign in to captureAction needed

Amber, pulsing. You're signed out — sign in to womiin to capture.

  • Reload to reconnectAction needed

Red, steady. Something interrupted the connection — reload the page to reconnect.

  • Listing removed

Amber, steady. The listing was taken down or expired on the portal — often a useful signal in a negotiation.

  • When a place has already been scored, a small score circle also sits on the button — green, amber or red to match its score.

The button lives on the page, not in the toolbar. The toolbar icon is for signing in and quick access; the capture and the score circle appear on the listing.

When the button doesn't appear

It shows up on the listing pages it recognizes — a single property or stay you can save. It's intentionally quiet on search-results pages, sign-in pages and anything that isn't one listing, because there's nothing single to capture there. And a portal's layout may simply be new to us.

This is normal, not a failure — and you're never stuck.

Reload once

On a genuine listing, a quick reload often brings the button back — the page may not have finished loading.

Paste the link

Add the listing to a mission by pasting its URL in the web app — womiin extracts the details from the link.

Add it by hand

No link, or a portal that hides details behind a login? Add the property manually in the web app — it still gets a womiin Score from its address.

Coverage keeps growing: the more people capture from a site, the better womiin gets at recognizing it — so the set of portals it handles keeps expanding. If a listing won't capture, send us the link.

Catch price changes and removed listings

The extension keeps an eye on the listings you've saved. While your browser is open and idle, womiin refreshes their data through the community — a fleet of extensions that keeps prices fresh for everyone, not just you. Two things it watches for:

Price changes

When a saved listing's price moves — a drop or a rise — you see it right on the property card, so a negotiation opening doesn't slip past you.

Free: an in-app badge with the latest change. Plus & Pro: a desktop notification and the full price history.

Removed listings

When a listing is taken down or expires on the portal, womiin notices and flags the property — often a useful signal that it sold, was withdrawn, or is being re-listed.

Free: an in-app “listing removed” badge. Plus & Pro: a desktop notification too.

Screenshots coming soon

You're only ever notified about your own saved listings — the ones you follow. The quiet community re-checks that keep prices fresh never notify you, and they're never about anyone else's places.

Questions

Does the extension work on my phone?

Not yet — the extension is for desktop browsers. Native mobile apps with capture are on the way. In the meantime, the womiin web app works well on your phone, including the visit guides you'd use while viewing a property.

Do I need an account?

Yes — a free womiin account. Sign in on the website and the extension mirrors that session; there is no separate login for the extension.

Which sites does it work on?

Property and travel listings across thousands of portals worldwide, in any language, plus generic detection for sites it hasn't seen before. There's no fixed “supported sites” list, and it stays inactive on anything that isn't a listing.

What does the extension actually read?

Only the listing page you choose to capture, and only on your click. It never reads other pages. It sends that listing to womiin for analysis. See the privacy page on the website.

Is the score computed in the extension?

No. The womiin Score is computed by womiin's backend from the location and independent public data. The extension captures the listing and displays the result — it doesn't calculate the score.

It says the listing is already saved — what now?

That means the place already lives in one of your missions. The button offers to save it to another mission as well, so the same listing can sit in more than one search.
