Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

The service

womiin is a location-intelligence service. It aggregates property and accommodation listings and computes the womiin Score — a measure of a location's qualities based on independent, public data and established wellbeing frameworks.

The womiin Score and all related insights are informational decision-support only. They are not professional, financial, legal, real-estate, or investment advice, and they are not a guarantee of any outcome. Much of the underlying data comes from third parties and is provided "as is"; locations, listings, and conditions change. Always do your own due diligence before making a decision.

Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly at support@womiin.com if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for the content you add to the Service and confirm that you have the right to add it.

Plans, payments, and renewals

The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (Plus and Pro). Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices shown include any applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before it ends; one-time plans run for their stated term. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Founding-member pricing, where offered, is honoured for as long as that subscription remains active.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Nothing here limits any mandatory refund or withdrawal rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe the rights of others;
• access, scrape, or bulk-extract the Service or its data by automated means;
• use the Service to operate automated agents or bots, or use the Service or its outputs to train machine-learning or AI models — other than through womiin's official API, under its terms;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, or circumvent security or usage limits;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or the infrastructure it runs on.

Use of the womiin Score and womiin data is governed by the Intellectual property section below.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Intellectual property

The Service — including the womiin Score methodology, software, and design, and the names womiin and womiin Score — is owned by WOMIIN GLOBAL INTELLIGENCE, Unipessoal Lda. and protected by intellectual-property and trademark law. The standard womiin Score is womiin's market reference and may not be passed off as your own.

You keep ownership of the content you create. By adding content, you grant us the licence needed to host it, operate the Service, and — without identifying you — improve our location data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Sharing. We want you to share womiin. You may share the share cards and public share pages that womiin generates, through womiin's own sharing features — on social media, in messaging apps, and elsewhere, including in a professional context — provided you do not alter them and you keep the womiin and womiin Score branding, the attribution, and the womiin.com link intact. Do not crop out, cover, remove, or modify the womiin logo, the womiin Score label, the Certified badge, or the link.

Use of the womiin Score. Your plan lets you use the Service — including for your own professional work — to inform your decisions. It does not give you the right to redistribute or commercialise the womiin Score itself. Except for sharing the branded materials described above, you may not, without our prior express written permission:

• make the womiin Score or womiin data available to others as part of, or a feature of, your own product, listing, platform, or service;
• redistribute, resell, republish, or otherwise commercially exploit the womiin Score or womiin data, whether or not you attribute it to womiin — attribution alone does not grant a licence;
• remove, alter, obscure, or detach our branding or attribution from anything we produce, or present the womiin Score as your own or as originating elsewhere;
• imply any partnership, endorsement, or certification by womiin that we have not granted in writing.

Commercial licensing. Businesses — including property portals, listing platforms, agencies, and other services that wish to display or build on the womiin Score — can license it through womiin's commercial offering and API. Contact us at support@womiin.com.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service or its data will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. As stated above, the womiin Score is decision-support, not advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, womiin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and the competent Portuguese courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms overrides your mandatory EU consumer-protection rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the date shown above; significant changes will also be communicated through the Service. By continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect, you accept the revised Terms.
