womiin Atlas
The open reference for the wellbeing potential of places.
womiin Atlas is the open reference for the wellbeing potential of places — the evidence infrastructure beneath every womiin Score. Every measured place on Earth, scored on one impartial multi-dimensional scale and published in frozen, citable editions: capitals today; cities, towns, villages, countries and the planet over time. It serves people choosing where to live, stay or invest, organisations whose decisions depend on places, and the agents that act for them.
Pick a capital in the list — or, on the interactive globe, tap one — to see its scores to live and to visit.

What makes it different
1
One scale for every place
From a capital down to a neighbourhood cell about a kilometre across, every place is read on the same ruler — one standard per mission, so a score to live is never mixed with a score to visit.
2
Frozen, citable editions
Each edition is frozen, hashed and citable, with open files. A published edition is never re-scored.
3
Neighbourhood granularity, at global scale
Inside every city, the score is published zone by zone — not just one number per city.
4
Observed, not surveyed
The evidence is observed from open sources such as OpenStreetMap — contributed and incomplete, which is why every index shows its coverage.
5
Open data
The index level is always free. The weights are fixed and transparent, and the files are yours to reuse under their licences.
Why «Atlas»
In 1595 Gerardus Mercator's Atlas sive Cosmographicae Meditationes was the first collection of maps to bear the name, given in honour of the legendary King Atlas. The Titan holding up the heavens came to the frontispieces later. womiin Atlas keeps the first meaning: a book of the world, to understand it.
For organisations
If your decisions depend on places — where to build, to serve, to invest or to relocate people — the Atlas is evidence you can cite. Tell us what you need.
Work with the datawomiin turns objective evidence about any place into knowledge at two scales — the apps, for the decisions of a life; the Atlas, for understanding the planet we share.
womiin Atlas measures the conditions a place offers, from observed open data. It does not measure how residents feel or experience a place, and it is not investment, legal or relocation advice. Sources are contributed and incomplete; every index shows its coverage and uncertainty.
